During the recent CEO Investor Day in Seoul, Korea, Kia announced the arrival of the Kia Carens EV in the Indian market, positioning it as one of the most budget-friendly EVs from the South Korean automaker. Set to debut by 2025, the Kia Carens EV is expected to be priced between ₹20-22 lakh (ex-showroom, India), marking it as the first electric MPV in the country within this price range.

Kia is set to increase its lineup flexibility by expanding its hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) offering. Currently consisting of six models, the HEV lineup is expected to expand to nine models by 2028. Additionally, HEV powertrain options will be available for most of Kia’s flagship models.
