Advanced performance chassis:
Tesla Latest Model 3 Performance unveiled The performance of the new Model 3 benefits from custom chassis components as well as the latest noise, vibration and harshness (NVH) enhancements and comfort upgrades. These include adaptive dampers, multi-sectioned stabilizer bars, ultra-high strength steel springs, and reinforced suspension mounts. These improvements result in a more agile and responsive chassis, optimizing the performance of the underlying technologies.
The front and rear bumpers, along with the rear diffuser and carbon fiber spoiler, contribute to reducing drag and enhancing aerodynamic balance at high speeds.
Now, Tesla’s most powerful Model 3 is more affordable than the Model 3 Long Range, thanks to federal tax credits. Only the Model 3 Performance Edition is eligible for this government incentive.
Performance:
The latest performance model is largely inspired by the updated Model 3, with changes to the front and rear diffusers and a new rear spoiler. It boasts impressive performance enhancements with a 22% increase in continuous power, a 32% increase in peak power and a 16% increase in peak torque. With 500 hp, it is equipped with a “performance” motor specific to this model.

The Tesla Latest Model 3 Performance unveiled Performance achieves a remarkable acceleration of 0 to 60 mph in just 2.9 seconds, which is 0.2 seconds behind its predecessor. Elon Musk praised its acceleration, claiming it was “faster than a Porsche 911.”

Track Mode V3

Range:
The Model 3 Performance now offers an EPA range of 296 miles (476 km) per charge, which is a 10-mile (16 km) improvement over its predecessor, although slightly less than the Long Range variant.
Rear display:
In the updated Model 3, Tesla has introduced an 8-inch touchscreen for rear passengers, which offers climate controls, Bluetooth connectivity, and entertainment features. With the latest Tesla update 2024.14, trip details, time, and temperature are now displayed at the top of the rear screen for added convenience.

Deliveries:
The Model 3 Performance is now available for purchase, with orders flooding in shortly after its launch. In the US, deliveries are expected around May/June 2024, while in Canada, where prices start at CA $69,990 (₹42,63,678.82) deliveries are projected for June/July.
